I like TKO 16ozers. Good material and construction and face friendly.

I really don't have much money to spend, but I have come to like Rumble's leather gloves. 14oz is the only size I've ever owned.

Greetings I collect the old vintage boxing gloves, and prefer using old Everlasts, Cleto Reyes, Ben Lee, and others for fitness fun and erotic boxing whenever possible. I also sell some of my vast collection from time to time if you are interested in any. I do not like the new hard leather gloves, except for use on a heavy bag. The old school gloves are so sexy!

So I guess we are all equal that boxing gloves MUST be made out of leather and leather only!! 😆

Thanks for sharing your nice opinion about gloves..
I like old gloves too... but as much as new ones...
Old gloves have their great smell... but new gloves look more agressive and mostly have a great smell too..
But that is only my opinion... 😆

Beaulieu triple cuff 18 oz. gloves are incredible. They hit hard. The extra weight is in the cuff. The striking surface is compact and tight. But when I put them on I feel like a FIGHT GOD. Feels like I was BORN in them. Nothing better. Beaulieu is very hard to find now. They are patterned after the old school Flores gloves.

I've used them in competition. I have sponsored many boxing events and tournaments. I box competitively in most events, sometimes as the main event. I ran a boxing series called HarborFight at my gym in Oregon. I did all my fights with these awesome Beaulieu gloves. I have two pairs, so in some of the events I required all boxers to wear them. I have also used them for lots of matches during my travels around the US and Europe. I now bring them out for the Fight Nights I organize at my gym here in Australia. ¡Ingresa para ver las fotos de la galería, por favor!

Hi guys!
I was wondering if you like to tell me what do you think are the best boxing gloves on earth to box with? I like to know the brand, the color, the size and the material...
I myself prefer Twins or Everlast, in white, red or black... 10 or 12 oz and made out of real leather of course... 😆

Tell me why...

Traducir

HarborFighter (53 )

10/12/2017 0:58

(en respuesta a esto)

More than any other glove (even more than my Beaulieu that I rave about and love) they fit the hand perfectly. They feel as if they become part of the hand. And when a punch lands it feels more solid and centered than with other gloves. Punches with Reyes sends an awesome electrical charge through the whole body of the puncher...a charge that tells you you're doing it right!

There is something else, too. Boxing is a sport that is done shirtless. When you fight a man you bare your body and soul to him and to the world. Wearing Reyes extends that feeling to the extremities of the body, making the awesome feeling of boxing a man complete! Two shirtless men fighting. Hard. gloved fists flying. Punches connected. Hands protected. The deepest bond perfected.

BOXING.

I too own 2 pair of 8 oz. Pro Cleto Reyes (lace-ups). Completely different feel compared to my Vintage 14 oz. mitts.I use my 16 oz Everlast gloves for heavy bag work and sparring. My favs will always be my 12 oz. Vintage Tuf-Wear Gloves...Black soft leather perfect fit...SWEET
