After more than 4 years I make the expierence that it actually doesn't matter what You write or don't write in Your profile.
I found about 5 opponents in all the time directly here.
What a poor result!!
These comments are exactly correct, and a reason I continue on with meetfighters. Most, I said most, of the guys on here are legit ;but there are a bunch of turds who don’t read profiles, and are time wasting toads.
Those are the ones you just gonna have to deal with to find the ones (like me) who honestly try and meet up for a bout…
My profile is very open, honest and legit, I hope you all appreciate the fetish for kinkboxing! If you think it needs changes please let me know and I will oblige! Ciao.
I agree with what's been said by Flexboxer and KOFistBoxer. Additionally, in your profile intro you might describe what type of opponent / match you are / are not looking for.
In general I would says that's a good idea, though in my experience a large amount of the ones who I am not looking for will just ignore that part of what I say, and message me anyway completely based on their opinion of my pictures, and just sort of just expect me to do whatever their fantasy entails.
Still being open and honest with the legit, respectful people is a good practice.
Yeah that much is clear, at least with the ones who are only looking for visuals to arouse them. You can always tell when they are asking you multiple questions that just reading the profile would have answered for them or when you are messaged by ones that should have known you wouldn't be into them if they just read the profile.
The most laughable excuse some of them use is that it's "too long" to read. So basically they are too lazy to take 2 minutes to read something, but I am supposed to be fine with spending as long as they want providing them with endless turn-on talk.
I recommend having a photo of you in glove if boxing is your central interest. That makes it much easier for guys browsing to know what you're into and, consequently, reach out. Your profile also says you have access to a ring—that's very rare! Maybe describe the ring setup and show a photo too?
I've been off the page for a long time and I'm ready to reinvent myself. I want to update my profile, any recommendations? And for anyone interested in virtual fighting to make up the distance, DM me
