I read today that Kendo Nagasaki in the Sixties put the Cold stream guard (Big Daddy before He piled on weight) on his shoulders.

Bet he cpuldnt do it later!

What do you guys think of the new WOS ?

I really do t care for it. Probably because I’m comparing it with the original.
It looks to scripted and contrived. In the original WOS we had characters and dare i say some of them could actually wrestle.

From what I've seen of it, I'd have to say, "What's the point?" It's nothing but modern day pro-wrestling. They seem to have missed the fact that what made WOS memorable was that it used an actual rule set, with refs that were there for more than just a comedy routine. When the heels cheated in the WOS days, it meant more.

Not seen much (only on when in gym). Seems to be the usual poorly judged UK attempt to imitate the worst of the US. Talk, talk and more talk. Almost no wrestling, let alone decent technical stuff by guys in shape, and some v. dubious family-time leather/S&M/ soft sapphic-kink stuff "for the dads." Tawdry, bad-taste-in-the-mouth stuff. Hardly a tribute to the stuff that woke us all up as adolescent lads.

OK, a lot better than WWE but not as good as the original WoS

These are amongst my favourite bouts:

Two Hot guys, both in Trunks and Boots, and great WoS Wrestling. This was wot WoS Wrestling was all about all those yrs ago. Collins takes the lead, and wins, but Kerry is great, looks Hot in the White Trunks.

Two bouts I'd have like to have seen are:

Catchweight (60 min duration) Danny Boy Collins (metallic yellow trunks) vs Greg Valentine (metallic or matt white) and Greg Valentine vs Chic Cullen (3 falls bout or 60 duration)
