Heya Guys. I’m a snow bird in St Pete. I enjoy wrestling and other kinks, but not boxing. I did speak to a guy who was part of the old club here. He said it just sort of disintegrated. I’m always game for a match though.
There are NONE in Pasco and Pinellas. that I have heard about in 20yrs... So many of these Gays are so busy with their own "agenda" they can't even return an e-mail.
Hell they don't even suggest something acceptable to both of us. Twenty years ago there was The Eagles Wrestling Club that met at the Gay Resort in St.Pete...I have tried
several times in the last 45days to see if there are any current gay positive wrestling clubs in Tampa or elsewhere nearby but my e-mails to supposed members, go unanswered at this date.
The gay men of Pasco haven't supported ANY thing.----gay bars, come and are all gone; of course discriminating against older gay men at one gay owned bar in NPR. didn't
help...and then far to many fire regulations got another. I do understand not everyone is into the "bar scene".
Discriminating against our own gay brothers and sisters is WRONG.!. AT my age I have lost many friends up north and down here to AIDS and the most common request from all 15+ I knew; was to be touched and hugged.. I am proud to say I hugged all of my friends that were so ill.. Over the years before the pandemic I wrestled and sanely and safely boxed many and still enjoy hugging and clinching....Is there anyone local??????
