Earlier this year United World Wrestling voted to reduce the maximum age for competitors at the world championships from 70 down to 60. This would cut short the career of many older wrestlers, including a number of medalists from our club. We are working to try to get them to reverse this decision. One of our approaches has been to start a petition drive to show UWW that there is widespread support for older wrestlers. I will be bringing petition forms to every practice and hope to collect as many signatures as possible. In addition, we have an online version of the petition, so you can sign even if you can't attend practice.
Well have you seen what happened to Charles Laughton who played Henry the 8th. Well he had a wrestling prove to the crowd and he was pretty fit for a match I think at the age of 58. And I think he won the match and end up dropping dead. In front of his audience in the movie interesting l Henry..
And people abruptly drop dead during or immediately following sporting activity at far younger ages, as well, even associated with high school sport athletics.
Yep that's very true.. they don't really know that these young athletes could also be a ticking time bbomb worth plenty of these athletes I have undetectable Health ailments. We will have to be careful for ourselves and get tested as often as we can especially when we get older..
Can you imagine the shape of things to come with so many of our younger folks growing up whose most ardent physical activity is sticking their faces up the butts of their smartphones – milling about like in a zombie movie blindly bumping into things, people, and traffic.

5/05/2018 5:51 AMHopefully USA wrestling is more open minded. In BJJ so far no restrictions, let's hope it stays that way.

Why do they feel there needs to be any kind of age limit?
